I have been invited by Chonnam University in South Korea to exhibit along with 15 Myanmar artists, 40 Korean Artists and 9 artists from other countries in the Republic of Korea-Myanmar Joint Art Exhibition 2021 “With Myanmar 展” at the May Hall Gallery and Thinking Box gallery.

In 1980 Gwangju faced a similar situation to the one that Myanmar faces now, and Chonnam University has historical records in plaques and monuments of how the students stood up to the oppression. They were therefore prompted to host this exhibition .

I meditated on what to paint and felt that main thing I wished for Myanmar was Peace and especially to artist friends I know there. I therefore symbolised this through the dove of peace in a triptych 'Peace one hundredfold' one of the which is shown here, within the whole painting i painted peace one hundred times focusing that intention.
