Today is VE day, and marks 75 years ago since the end of WW2, some streets have held social distanced minute's silence at 11am,& some street parties with everyone staying in their front gardens but raising cups of tea to neighbours. In the present we are still in a state of emergency with Covid 19 but dream of a better future for us all.

Delighted to have my painting 'Earth' in Jade Artspace's exhibition 'A Better Tomorrow'

A better future to me is that we are in more harmony with our home Earth. During this time of Lockdown, through social media I have seen more appreciation of the natural world. This stiller and quieter time has given us humans space to contemplate relationship with one another and our neighbours in the natural world. I am delighted that my painting Earth has been accepted for the online international women's art exhibition held by Jade Artspace who have compiled these short videos of the online exhibition for you to visit from the comfort of your homes whilst we all stay safe at home.
