Nether Edge Festival week also falls within East South-East Heritage month of September and drawing towards the mid Autumn moon festival. So I thought I'd do a walk around the area and create a playful map of some the landmarks. Very important to include the River Sheaf as it's one of the reasons medieval settlers came to the area, and how Sheffield has it's name.

Another key thing was to include some of the flora and fauna as there are many trees along the streets, in the parks and especially in Brincliffe Edge woods-not to mention that special gas lamp growing out of the wall around the woods!

Many of the buildings date back to Victorian times but there not the only ones so does the award winning Chelsea Road Elm tree given place on the map.

Very pleased to say the original of the map is sold, but prints are available.
